The hospital was established in 1991 focusing on Diabetes Research and Development. The hospital is specialized in Diabetes treatments and provides patients a comprehensive medical services which include an Inpatient Department, an Outpatient Department, a R & D Institute, an education center, and provides Diabetes Health care products. The Inpatient and Outpatient Departments focus on clinical treatment while undertaking medical-related missions such as education, healthcare and R & D with organizations from Japan and the USA. In view of the Diabetes related complication, the Hospital has extended services to include medicine, neuropathy (nerve), ophthalmology (eye), dentistry, traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture and massage with the support of computerized equipment. The Department Heads in hospital are experienced medical professors in their corresponding fields. Regular seminars on diabetes are conducted on an international basis. Updated medical equipment and medicine are continuously integrated to maintain advanced medical treatment. Meetings of diabetes experts of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine in Beijing city are regularly organized for Complex diabetes consultations. After over a decade of R & D in diabetes, the Hospital practices an integration of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine treatment which proved to be effective in comprehensive treatments for diabetes patients.
